Our Curriculum Overview

A Commitment to The CELPIP Tests are the leading general English tests for immigration, citizenship, professional designation, and for admission to universities, colleges, and vocational programs.

The CELPIP GENERAL
The CELPIP – General evaluates test takers’ English listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills and is officially designated for permanent residence applications by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), and is also accepted for professional designations by the Department of Home Affairs of Australia for visa purposes, and by Universities, Colleges, and Vocational Programs.

The CELPIP LS
The CELPIP – General LS evaluates test takers’ English listening and speaking skills and is officially designated for citizenship applications by IRCC.

CELPIP – General

Evaluates test taker’s English speaking, reading, listening, and writing skills and is used for permanent residence applications, professional designation, and by Universities, Colleges, and Vocational Programs.

Single Test Sitting
Takes under 2 hours and 50 minutes to complete and can be done in one sitting with no separate speaking session.
 
Approved for Immigration Purposes
The CELPIP – General test is approved by the Australian and Canadian governments for immigration and visa applications

CELPIP – General LS

Evaluates test taker’s English speaking and listening skills and is used for citizenship applications.

Single 1-Hour Test Sitting
Takes approximately 70 minutes to complete and can be done in one sitting with no separate speaking session.
 
IRCC Approved for Citizenship Status
The CELPIP – LS test is the IRCC approved test for Canadian citizenship applications
